The Bruce McLean prints have hung in Shepperton, Middlesex, England but are not shown here. I had planned to buy a sofa but while contemplating my choices I ran across the prints at a gallery in Chalk Farm, London. No contest. The sofa could wait.
Lair Hill 2004 Somewhat perversely, McLean produced 25 of one, 75 of another and 125 of the one I did not buy. So there could only be a maximum of 24 complete triptych's. During the last eighteen years they have hung on a wall for less than four years, usually in storage somewhere. Late 2002 I removed them from the frame and snuck them across the pond to Lakeville where they hung one above the other. I had them reframed locally in Lakeville, MA. The frames are larger and a lot more impressive. When I left on my cross-country trip they went back into storage for another 10 months or so.

The Tate gallery in London has some McLean art, several prints and some sculpture. He also did some railings at Canary Wharf. Not sure if the Tate has anything on display. Doubt it.
